Scheherazade Program Description:

All programs are two hours with a 20-30 minute intermission and include live music.

Frequently local vendors are available one hour before the show, and at intermission. Vendors can not only help bring people, but vendor rental fees can assist in reducing total production costs.

This program has various formats depending upon budget. All versions have been well received with great success.

These are listed here in order of least expensive to most expensive:

One Woman Production

Titanya portrays all of the characters and is the featured dancer throughout the program. Live music is provided by two to three musicians. This format has been very successful for many years.

One-Woman Production with Additional Dancers

Titanya portrays all of the characters and is the featured dancer in various solo performances. In addition, a variety of talented belly dancers and belly dance troupes accompany her and offer various solo performances throughout the program. Live music with two to three musicians. Most of the tours will be conducted in this format.

Full Cast Production with Additional Dancers

Titanya narrates and portrays Scheherazade throughout the program. Titanya is the director and main choreographer to a full cast of actors and dancers who portray the characters. Live music with two to three musicians. This program requires many weeks of rehearsal. The total cast for this type of performance has exceeded 35 people and requires an extensive number of costumes and a fully professional set design.
